If you are a Federation subscriber you can join the Group Insurance scheme.  With effect from 1st November 2024 the cost is £34.00 for single membership and £40.99 for member plus spouse membership.  The new summary scheme booklet, containing pricing and scheme benefits, will be available from the effective date on this website.

Please remember it is your responsibility to ensure the appropriate deductions are being made and that you remain eligible under the scheme.

You must pay a subscription fee to be a member of this insurance scheme. Payment of your Police Federation subscription only does not entitle you to membership of the group insurance scheme.

Attention Retired officers

If you return to the force as a police officer or as police staff you are not automatically transferred into the police staff group insurance scheme. Your cover will remain under the retired member section unless you contact us and state otherwise. If you require further information on this, please contact the Federation office.
