Supporting Our ‘Hero’ NHS Colleagues

West Yorkshire Police Federation’s Thin Brew Line van has visited NHS colleagues to offer a warm drink.

The team went to Pinderfields Hospital in Wakefield in mid-April to dish out the coffees to their hospital and paramedic colleagues.
Federation Chairman Brian Booth said: “It was a privilege and a pleasure.

“The NHS are always there for our police colleagues, patching them up in our time of need. Nothing has changed – it’s just a lot more dangerous with the threat of Covid-19.
“I’m absolutely sure none of our members would begrudge these heroes our support.”

Guy King, Secretary of West Yorkshire Police Federation, added: “We are grateful for the NHS at this time and we wanted to show our support with a decent coffee from The Thin Brew Line.”
Guy is pictured left manning the van with Federation Rep Craig Nicholls.

Mid Yorkshire NHS tweeted: “Wow! A huge thank you to the West Yorkshire Police Federation who have visited A&E at Pinderfields Hospital to give out free coffee and hot chocolate to our staff and ambulance crews.”
